	FPSC 01/08 This circular advises FRAs on: (i) the Pension Increase (Review) Order 2008; and (ii) possible overpayments of pensions paid to FPS pensioners who have reached State Pension Age (SPA) as a result of late or non notification of GMPs.
	FPSC 02/08 This circular advises FRAs on FPS and NFPS Amendments that allow for the pensionability of Long Service Increment and CPD payments to be dealt with through Additional Pension Benefit arrangements (CPD Factors). Providing also for two pensions (or split pension) arrangements in the FPS.

	Pensioner Overpayment In December 2008, it came to light that certain public service pensioners received overpayment of their pensions though miscalculation of increases for Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) and Retail Price Index linking. Opinion on whether this affects fire pensions is mixed with Scotland indicating that former firefighters may be affected and CLG advising that they are not.
