Currently there are 46 fire control rooms in England, based at local fire brigades. The FiReControl project is working to move from the existing system of control rooms into 9 new amalgamated Regional Control Centres.
For our Control Members, this is one of the most important issues that has arisen this century, and if we are to thoroughly address all the issues that will arise we need our members to get more involved. So, if you wish to become part of the shaping of your own, and other members conditions, both nationally and locally, please contact us via foa@fireofficers.org.uk |
